El Pasoan arrives at the last lap on Tengo Talento Mucho Talento
Lately we’ve seen a lot of people from El Paso make TV appearances last year and if you’ve watched Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, one of the nominees has been representing El Paso since March.
Tengo Talento Mucho Talento is a Spanish TV show on Estrella TV that showcases singing talents, much like The X factor or The voice. Tengo Talento Mucho Talento has been around since 2009 and is in its 17th season. The final season kicked off in March and featured all the singers to celebrate women’s history. Last night they announced that the last 4 candidates would advance to the final round … one of them is from El Paso …
Meet Gisselle Lopez, she is the lead singer of the rock-mariachi band El Paso Tribes and a vocal instructor for the Sound Stage 9 music school. Gisselle also makes the final alongside Daisy Olvera, Fatima Guilhoux and Issabella Molina. If you haven’t seen her perform in the show this year, here’s a sample:
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Gisselle Lopez has appeared on Tengo Talento Mucho Talento. In fact, she appeared in season 14 in 2016 AND she also made it to the final round at the time.
I know this year Gisselle is coming back for redemption and the last episode airs this week and you can vote on the Tengo Talento Mucho Talento Facebook. I speak for everyone in El Paso when we say “break a leg!”
Tribes will be part of this year’s Cool Canyon Nights, and you’ll also be able to hear Tribes on Q Connected on Sunday nights from 10 p.m. to midnight, starting at 95.5 KLAQ.
